BUTTER PECAN FUDGE



* Ingredients :


°1/2 cup (125 ml) butter

°½ cup (125 ml) sugar

°1/2 cup (125 ml) brown sugar

°1/2 cup (125 ml) heavy cream

°35% pinch of salt 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

°2 cups (500 ml) powdered sugar

°1 cup (250 ml) pecans


*Preparation:


Roast the pecans in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes, grease an 8 x 8 pyrex pan well and set aside, mix butter, sugar, brown sugar, cream and salt in a medium saucepan, heat over medium heat until mixture starts in the formation of bubbles. Start with the timer and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir throughout the process, then remove from heat and add powdered sugar, vanilla and walnuts. Mix well, pour into a pyrex dish, cool, chop, keep in an airtight dish.
