It takes a little patience, ideally a bread maker or dough mixer, and lots of binge-makers and friends to share...Super soft, cinnamon-sweetened rolled buns... They're called cinnamon rolls, and they're very popular in the US (Cinnabons is the reference brand ) and in the Nordic countries where it is called Kanelbulle. If you really want to indulge your craving for sweets, add a little cream cheese frosting and caramelized pecans.
* Ingredients list :
°600 g flour
°2 eggs
°230 ml of lukewarm milk
°100 grams of sugar
°75 g melted butter
°1 sachet of baker's yeast
°cinnamon sugar
°220g of green sugar, brown sugar or brown sugar
°75 grams soft butter
°10 grams of cinnamon
+icing
°200 gm powdered sugar
°50 soft butter
°100 grams of fresh cream cheese, such as Sainte-Maurit
°1 c. 1 teaspoon vanilla
* Recipe steps :
Make the dough, ideally with a bread machine, otherwise by hand a bread machine: put warm milk, eggs, sugar and melted butter in order, cover with flour and finally yeast. Use the dough program.
dissolve yeast in lukewarm milk & sugar. In a bowl, put the flour and work well, add the eggs one by one, then the milk / sugar / yeast, then the melted butter
Form a ball with dough, cover and leave to rise for an hour in the oven (oven closed, closed, in a pot of boiling water)
Roll out the soft dough on a floured work surface. Spread softened butter over the entire surface with your hands, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly. Roll into sausage shape and cut into 4cm-wide sections.
Arranges sections on baking sheet in plate (with edges if possible)
Cover with foil and let it rise in the oven for an hour
Preheat the oven to 200°C and cook the cinnabonon for 15-20 minutes (it should be golden brown).
Prepare the icing: beat the cheese, softened butter, sugar and vanilla with an electric mixer, and cover the cinnabon with this garnish as soon as they come out of the oven...
