Pair pineapple with your chicken to add sweet flavor & color to your plate!
* Ingredients :
° Pineapple in pieces, with the juice
° Pineapple in pieces, with juice 1 can of 398 ml
° Brown sugar
° 45 ml (3 tbsp) brown sugar
° reduced sodium soy sauce
° reduced sodium soy sauce 60 ml (1/4 cup)
° Red bell pepper
° Red bell pepper 1, minced
° Chicken thighs
° Chicken thighs 12, boneless
Also provide:
° 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
* Preperation :
In a large airtight bag, place the pineapple pieces, pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, bell pepper, thighs and red onion. Salt and pepper. Close the bag and shake. Remove air from bag and seal.
Place the bag flat in the freezer.
The day before the meal, let the bag thaw in the refrigerator.
When cooking, transfer the mixture to the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.
