Ingredients
1 can Betty CrockerTM SuperMoistTM Golden Cake Mix
250 ml (1 cup) of water, 125 ml (1/2 cup) of vegetable oil and 3 eggs, as indicated on the box of the cake mix
2 cans (4 servings each) instant banana pudding
1 L (4 cups) milk, as indicated in cans of pudding mix
250 mL (1 cup) CheeriosTM Honey Nut Cereal (crushed)
1 tube of whipped topping
1 sliced banana, for garnish
Steps
Bake golden cake according to package directions and let cool completely.
Using the round handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes in the cake in even lines. Make sure to prick all the way to the bottom of the cake.
Prepare pudding according to package directions, let stand 2 minutes and pour over top of cake. Let the pudding rest (about 5 to 10 minutes).
Spread the whipped topping over the pudding layer. Serve immediately or refrigerate overnight for firmer consistency. Top with crushed Cheerios cereal and banana slices immediately before serving.
