Blueberry biscuits

* ingredients :


+biscuit:

° 2 cups flour

° 4 teaspoons baking powder

° 1 cup cold milk

° 1/3 cup sugar

° 5 tsp butter 

° 1 tsp salt

° 3 ounces fresh or dried blueberries

+Glaze:

° 1 cup powdered sugar

° 1/8 cup water

° 1 teaspoon vanilla

° 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

* Preparation : 


Heat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.Blend salt / sugar / flour & baking powder in bowl.Adding milk to dry ingredients & stirring .When the dough begins to shape, take out each tablespoon of frozen hard butter, chop it and distribute it evenly on the dough.Fold and knead the dough, repeat until all the butter is evenly distributed in the dough.Add blueberries carefully.

Transfer dough to a floured cutting board and roll flat to about - thick (or to desired thickness) and cut out approximately 6 blueberry biscuits using a biscuit or cookie cutter. If you notice that the butter starts to melt during this process (hot cooking), you may need to refrigerate the dough for 10-15 minutes.D'not exceed 20, because first stage of baking powder may enter an in-active state.Bake in the oven for 712 minutes.Melt 1 tablespoon of low-fat butter in the microwave, then brush on the biscuits with a pastry brush.Mixing ingredients of glaze in a bowl and cast it on the raspberry biscuit with fork.
